No Need to Conquer

I was just standing in my bathroom, dripping wet from just having come out of the shower, deep in thought about our society and the conclusions I have come to about it regarding the human behaviour of today’s individuals and why we think and behave the way we do. After much contemplation, I came to the conclusion that we are in a civil war … of sorts. Viewing society from this perspective, I think that the individuals who are labeled with words such as Democrats, tree-huggers, faggots, liberals, hippies, plus all the individuals who have been labeled and of whom I did not mention, are still fighting for the independence and peace of which is why we came to this country. The people who are labeled with terms such as Republican, right wing, Christian, Catholic plus all the individuals who have been labeled and of whom I did not mention, are those who provide physical power to the cause which we need in order to accomplish that initial break through, a break through that represents the fight we have in us to obtain independence & peace. We claimed this country in order to be free; to live among the indigenous who were here first. We no longer need to fight for what it is we came to America for … we made it. It’s time to let the people who desire peace and who know how to live it, be free to conquer. To conquer those who still insist we have something to fight with each other for. We don’t need to fight anymore. I ask that whoever reads this blog to take my words into consideration and practice love, not war as said so eloquently some 60+ years ago.

Fork in the Road

There are times in your life when an exchange takes place that will cause a fork in the road to instantly appear, therefore changing your life forever. This exchange is one that was totally planned however, the resulting consequences were absolutely, 100% not expected … ever. What does one do when a situation is placed in the forefront that is something she has felt would happen ever since she could remember? What route should be chosen when the choice made, will undoubtedly cause pain? The reality she believed in her heart would eventually arrive has now been exposed; the circumstance in which it has occurred, never in her wildest dreams.
